Bob Roser, a musician with a Welsh folk band
Bob won the National Welsh American Foundation's Welsh Heritage Medallion during the Annual North American Festival of Wales in 2007. He is pictured on the right, receiving the award from Dr. Arturo Roberts, publisher of Ninnau, the Welsh American newspaper. Bob is a member of a Welsh folk band, and plays both highland and small ceilidgh (mellow sound, not loud) bagpipes with a large repertoire of Welsh tunes. He lives in the greater Washington, DC, area, and he is a descendant of Sophia Benbow and Camm Moore. His band's website is:

Bob's wife Cindy does Welsh story telling. She has won a number of prizes at Welsh events. Her website is at

Both Bob and Cindy provided the program and entertainment at the 2008 reunion, and it was greatly enjoyed by all. Bob speaks fluent Welsh, and has made several trips to Wales.
